ProfessorPicker.com has brought the process of day-of-sale door lists and tickets into the 21st century with our Online Virtual Queueing System. Patent pending technology built to make your events more efficient for all. No more wasted hours in the morning waiting online, no more aggravation at the front door. Our system is precise, simple to use and customers love it. Our queueing system is an optional feature only available on premium listings.

To Reserve Your Spot on a List:

  • A user must have a registered account in good standing with ProfessorPicker.com.
  • When a listing queue is made available by a seller simply click on the sale day you want to attend.
  • The available slots will appear in sequential order, previously reserved spots will be noted as such.
  • Simply click on the available spot you wish to reserve and follow the booking instructions.
  • Once confirmed you will receive an email & text confirmation containing the corresponding ticket number with custom QR code specific to that ticket.

Please Read the following rules and instructions about using the Professor Picker queueing system.

  1. The ticket reserves your spot on the day-of-sale door line.
  2. The slot number you have booked is your spot in line.
  3. The ticket is only good for that sale on that day and will not access other sales.
  4. You are allowed one ticket, per sale, and, per 59 minutes per account.
  5. The responsibility of showing up on time to the sale is solely on the ticket holder. If your number is called and you are not present, neither the estate sale company and/or ProfessorPicker.com are not liable. It is recommended you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the sale.
  6. If your number is called and you are not present, the seller (hosting estate sale company) can deny or delay your entrance to the sale.
  7. Any actions by the attendee (ticket holder) deemed fraudulent of the ticketing system or against the rules set by ProfessorPicker.com or the hosting estate sale company will result in the cancellation of the attendees (ticket holder) ProfessorPicker.com account.
  8. A copy of this ticket can be found in the “My Bookings” section on your dashboard in your account at ProfessorPicker.com.
  9. Refunds on fixed price tickets are at the sole discretion of the hosting estate sale company (seller). ProfessorPicker.com does not issue refunds for any fixed price tickets.

BE SURE THAT YOUR USER PROFILE CONTACT INFORMATION (EMAIL ADDRESS & CELLPHONE NUMBER) ARE UPDATED & CORRECT. THIS IS WHERE WE WILL SEND YOU A COPY OF YOUR TICKET. A copy of your ticket can be found in the “My Bookings” section in your profile.
A user account will only be allowed to reserve one ticket per sale. A user account will only be allowed one ticket per 59 minutes. (For example: If you reserve a spot for a sale that begins at 9:00am, you will not be able to reserve other spots at other sales that begin within 59 minutes from your original reservation) No double bookings within that time are allowed.

To Generate a list:

Generating your day-of-sale door list online saves you time and helps you manage your sale turn-out more efficiently. Our system is safe, and a practical solution for any size sale. Keep the early morning crowds off the front lawns, stop bothering the neighbors, no more confusing paper lists, keep the property safe and your inventory safer. You can even earn revenue from your listing now! Our queueing system in an optional tool and is only available on premium listings and premium industry account subscriptions.

  • A user must have a registered account in good standing with ProfessorPicker.com.
  • Each sale day can have its own door list.
  • Each list can be scheduled to go live at a specific time. A countdown clock for each sale day will appear on the listing.
  • Each list can contain up to 100 queue slots.
  • Queue slots can be free or assigned a fixed price or create a list with a combination of both ($1 service fee per fixed price ticket).
  • Easily manage the master list through your profile on ProfessorPicker.com
  • Each ticket is given a number corresponding to its spot on the line and a unique ticket specific QR code which can be scanned at the door. A QR scanner can be found in the dashboard in your user profile.

  1. Managing and organizing the onsite day-of-sale door line is the sole responsibility of the estate sale company hosting the event.
  2. When calling ticket numbers, you must follow the sequential order of the list generated on ProfessorPicker.com
  3. Any specific onsite rules pertaining to the door list must be in your terms and conditions section on the listing page.
  4. If a ticket holder is not present at the time their number is called it is solely your responsibility to either delay or cancel their ticket. ProfessorPicker.com only generates the tickets, it is up to you to manage how the day-of-sale line proceeds.
  5. Sellers can manage the queue and can remove anyone from the queue at seller’s discretion.
  6. Refunds on fixed price tickets are at the sole discretion of the hosting estate sale company (seller) ProfessorPicker.com does not issue refunds for any fixed price tickets. Any requests for refund will be redirected to the hosting estate sale company. It is up to you to accept or decline the refund request.

Ticket Service Fees

Free admission tickets are always free and are never charged a service fee. Fixed price tickets are charged a $1 service fee per fixed price ticket. For example: If you choose 20 ticket slots in your queue and 5 of them are fixed price you will be invoiced $5.
